Furnace-Cleaning is an independent scientific and historical review. Our editorial integrity is not for sale. The following advertising content standards apply to all commercial placements on this site, without exception.

  • Energy industry products and services (must comply with environmental claims rules)
  • Educational programmes, courses, and certifications
  • Professional associations and industry conferences
  • Technical recruitment and employment services

Prohibited Advertising Categories

  • Gambling, betting, or games of chance
  • Tobacco, e-cigarettes, and related products
  • Pharmaceuticals and medical devices (direct-to-consumer)
  • Cryptocurrencies and unregulated financial instruments
  • Political parties, campaigns, or advocacy
  • Adult content of any kind
  • Misleading, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims

Key Terms & Conditions Summary

The following summarises our standard advertising terms. Full terms are provided in our advertising contract. By placing advertising with Furnace-Cleaning, partners agree to all applicable terms.

Labelling Requirement

All paid placements must be identified as "Advertisement," "Sponsored," or "Partner Message" in a font size no smaller than 11px. This is non-negotiable and required by Dutch Advertising Code Foundation (SRC) rules.

Content Review

All advertising creatives are subject to editorial review before publication. We reserve the right to reject or withdraw any advertisement that violates our content standards, with written notice to the advertiser.

No Editorial Influence

Commercial relationships with advertisers have no influence whatsoever on editorial content. Advertisers may not request coverage, positive mention, or editorial endorsement as part of any commercial arrangement.

Data & GDPR

Furnace-Cleaning does not share reader personal data with advertisers. Advertising partners may use standard click-tracking pixels subject to the consent framework described in our Cookie Policy.
