When Grissom Service Company set out to conquer Birmingham, Hoover, Mountain Brook, Vestavia, Trussville, Homewood & Irondale, we underestimated just how exciting things could get. Our first stop was Birmingham, where a mischievous squirrel decided to annex our picnic lunch! Who knew nature could be so bold (and partial towards sandwiches)?
Hoovering Around Hoover
Our Hoover stint, though, swung to a different melody. Literally. We stumbled upon a surprise Jazz concert, and we were instantly grooving to the tunes. No, we did not get any work done that day. The power of Jazz, everyone!
The rolling hills of Mountain Brook offered some moose sightings. Yes, moose in Alabama – we couldn’t believe it either! Meanwhile, Vestavia played host to a weather phenomenon where we were caught in a sunshower! Quite an atmospheric experience indeed.
Trussville & Homewood Shenanigans
Trussville brought with it delightful encounters with the wonderful local community, whereas Homewood made us feel at home. The apple pie at a local Homewood bakery is still the best we’ve had!
Last but not least, our journey ended in Irondale, where we simply sat by the Themes Creek, basking in the Alabama ambiance, happy with the knowledge of a job well done, and a journey well travelled.
